OUR ETHNIC CHEF

All chef from our kitchen are young girls from minority groups of Black H’mong and Giay who have been well trained to cook all guests’ favorites food that you can find from our menu.

The Luckydaisy project was started in 2012 to create a more authentic local experience for tourists, and to train uneducated local girls and women in hospitality. Our team of local women from both the H’mong and Giay ethnic groups, occasional volunteers from around the world, and manager, Hien, are delighted to accommodate you in one of our wooden houses.

    There are four main ethnic groups residing in Sapa: the H’mong (52%), Red Dao (25%), Tay (5%), Giay (2%).
